Hello

 

I’ve purchased an Apple Watch s7 from John Lewis and added a data plan to my sim only contract.

I followed the instructions on:

How do I buy an Airtime Plan on an Apple Watch that I already have?

 

Now, I see the data plan in MyO2, but I get this error when opening the data plan settings on my phone:

Oops, something went wrong. Try again and if the problem continues call 202 for free from your O2 mobile, quoting reference code 14


Customer services could not resolve the issue.

•iData is enabled

•WiFi calling is ON

 

Looks like a common issue with devices not purchased from O2. Any help is appreciated.

I am having a similar problem - I bough a new Apple Watch a few months ago and have not been able to transfer the bolt on I had used previously so don't have data. I have spoken to o2 multiple times who have sent me a new eSim and then told me to delete the Apple Watch app and start again, but I have struggled to explain the problem. I have tried everything and am now getting the error reference code 14. Any help much appreciated!

@O2Lisa @O2Sarah please help got the watch yesterday setup and plan added then would not update said no Wi-Fi.  Advice online said to reset did this now the plan will not add again and getting error 14.  Don’t want to spend hours on the phone had a bad experience with Apple Watch before so looks like will have to return it
