I recently switched from EE to o2 but I’m having significant problems with 4g in my area - even though I checked prior to sign up and coverage was rated as excellent.
Despite showing 4g on my phone, I can’t use the internet. To get around the issue, I’ve been switching my phone onto airplane mode and then back again, which seems to give me around 30 seconds - 1 minute of data but this isn’t sustainable long term.

When I check the status of the network, it always shows orange and ‘network congestion’. Has anyone else experienced the same? It’s really very poor in comparison to EE.

If you message O2 on Facebook (https://o2uk.co/O2CFB) , Twitter (https://o2uk.co/O2CTW) or Instagram (https://o2uk.co/O2CIG) , they should be able to help you with this.

I’ve tried the below suggested guide, and I tweeted o2 on Tuesday but no response. Seems the issue is getting worse - these screenshots are from earlier today. Very frustrating!
