not sure if anyone can help, I'm due to upgrade my sim only plan to a device plan tomorrow. does anyone know if the ability to upgrade will be live at midnight? live chat are no help and are really quite patronising.

You can reach the O2 sales team via social media:
Facebook (https://o2uk.co/O2CFB), Twitter (https://o2uk.co/O2CTW), or Instagram (https://o2uk.co/O2CIG)
Or you can call them on 0800 081 0255
EDIT: FYI Midnight is not a good time to do anything on the O2 site as that's the time the system updates. You're better off waiting until morning after 8 am.

thanks. I was hoping to do it tonight as I'm at work all day tomorrow but I guess that's that plan scuppered! live chat now saying I have to upgrade via the chat so I can have upfront costs removed. does this sound right?

@squid7827 To be honest, I really don't know. Hopefully another community member who knows more about the upgrade process than I do will come along and answer you, or you can try asking through the social media sites I linked to above.

ah thanks anyway! I'm new-ish to O2 myself after getting fed up with Vodafone and their awful customer service. hopefully they are right

I would leave it till the day after from past experience as it gives the system time to update, also the system usually goes into a maintenance mode around midnight..
I do not work for o2 or any VMo2 /Telefonica/Liberty Global Company
