transfer to bt

I am trying to trandfer my mobile from o2 to bt.  I am using pay as you go.

They are trying to charge £15 to "unlock" my phone.  Does anyone know how to get round this?

The only way around it is to put a contract sim in your phone so the unlock will be free.
The £15 is standard PAYG charge.

Bear in mind that if you have a P&G phone it needs to be on the network for 12 months unless an iphone.
