Hi,

O2 give tethering on Contracts only.

You may need to ring O2 on 202 to activate it if not already.

Be aware tho that your monthly data allowance wont last as long.

All other services as far as im aware work fine.

You would be better off getting an unlimited data sim from an alternative network for this kind of use...
There is one that does what you need for £15 a month.

I am on PAYG and use my mobile data set up as a wi-fi point  to use with my tablet. It's ok for some light internet usage.

For light use it's fine but not for people getting in and out of a Taxi all day long.....

Lol definitely not. I use opera mini or something similar, saves data when on a limited plan.

Tethering is only allowed on Pay Monhly contracts so be careful with it.

Hi Perksie
Is tethering allowed on all pay monthly contracts?
I didn't think my package (via cpw) allowed it but I am not sure our even know what to do to use it.

This is what I found about it and it's included in all Pay Monthly tariffs:

and here:

It's included in all Pay Monthly tariffs since March 2011.

I believe it is allowed on all PAYG tariff's too as you can only use as much as your credit allows.....?
