There may be an online check but I'm not aware of one.
If you call CS or use live chat they will check on the system for you though.

However as the official Nokia warranty says their is 2 years warranty from date of purchase @Anonymous

Nokia India have an IMEI warranty checker but not seen one for Nokia UK.

Possibly a different warranty for India ? I'm not sure.

I saw one for Canada too.
