You used to be able to register payandgo sims. Made it easy when you had problems and for lost/stolen. Can you not do this now?

yes, you still can @jonsie , customer services can do it and there's a number,automated service , that you can use also (don't ask me what it is, not my expertise Pay&go!)
That's why I'm asking the Op to clarify...he may be new to pay monthly and think it's similar to Pay&go...

Which was the reason I inserted the link. It quite clearly states new sims don't need registering on contract
(which is what the OP is on)

It seems fairly obvious that the sim isn't active so hopefully the op will come back or take the advice offered.
