Hello,

so, I've been trying to transfer my number from 3 to O2. I have a new pay monthly deal, and provided  my PAC code. At the moment I have a temporary number. Got a new sim from O2 a few days ago which I've been using to make  / receive calls since, with no issue. Today, I woke up and my phone says "SIM not provisioned" and I can't make any calls.

I've been trying to talk to someone from Support to see what's going on and when will my old number start working. I cannot get through to anyone. MyO2 app has a messaging system which always says .... sorry, we're too busy.

Called the support number from my landline, went for technical issues option, and all they say is go to the website and hang up on me.

So far not so good, I've been trying to talk to someone since Monday, to see how things are progressing and I still did not manage.

So, how one get any kind of support on O2 and what do I need to do to find out whats happening?

Sounds like your port has started as the sim has switched off. It will take upto 24 hours to fully port your old number to the new sim (usually quicker though), just keep rebooting your phone until you get a signal.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

The best option is to call 0844 809 0202 /or 202 from a o2 handset and follow the guide from one of the o2 gurus

when it comes to the reason you are calling, stay silent for 15 seconds and you will be taken to the keypad options.
Press 2 for Everything Else

Press 5 for More Options
Press 7 for Anything Else which will put you though to someone.

You may be able to use live chat if and when an agent is available @ https://www.o2.co.uk/contactus
And a pop up should appear
