My contract will end next month and I am looking at upgrade options.
I was looking at tariff that include iPhone 6 Plus 16GB
O2 has pay monthly tariff refresh for £53. In the breakdown they say that £30 is the phone payment and £23 is the airtime payment and there is no interest charged on the phone part.
However, that would mean that the cost of the phone is 24 months * £30 = £729
Apple and everybody else is selling the same model of the phone for £629.
I thought that phones on contract are sold with discount.
Do I miss something?
