how long does it take to take of a restriction?

I am very annoyed at o2. Why did i get told the restriction would take 1-2 hours to take off, but its been longer. and they shouldnt have restricted it in the first places. annoyed and very close to leaving

If the phone has been restricted because of alleged late payment it takes until the system updates at midnight once payment has been received. Your best option is to call them between 8 and 8.30 in the morning and ask them to remove it manually.
