hidden vat cost

Not applicable

I’d like to ask about the hidden vat cost on my bill please.

After upgrading, I was led to believe the internet use and tariff would total £16.00 p/m. I’m on my second bill now, and each has been over £18.00 due to “vat”. This wasn’t the case on my last contract. Why wasn’t this made clear during the upgrade process?

Whilst it’s not a lot of money, the way O2 have gone about it is pretty dishonest!

If teh vat is already included as you say, why is this the second time I'm paying over £18.00?!

We don't have the information to answer that question. On the face of it you are being overcharged but you will need to call CS for an explanation.....

Unless your willing to copy your complete bill here(minus identifiable information) your bill appears correct.

8.81+ 20% vat =£10.50(your contract)
6.00 I believe is already incorporated with vat so its still £6.00

So that is indeed the correct amount of £16.50

What are these "monthly extras?" A clue could lie within there
Nothing sucks more than that moment during an argument when you realize you’re wrong. So Ive been told

Ah, ok – just wanted to make sure I wasn’t missing something blatantly obvious as it’s the first time I’ve had anything other than a bog-standard flat rate.

Many thanks for all your responses!

Forget about the Vat it's all included, you need to find out what the extras are for.

Seems like an interim bill as there is a pro bono payment.

You should find your next bill will be correct.

I'm confused what the £1.13 data bolt on is about.

Why is everything doubled up?:/

So there’s nothing glaringly obvious I’ve missed?

I guess the best thing to do is speak to customer service to check everything is correct?

Thanks again for the responses 🙂

It's because the first bill takes you from the date you joined upto the first billing date then you get charged for the next complete month....
