So I thought I was upgrading my phone only to go through with my details and find I had created a new contract. Went back through and managed to upgrade but now I have 2 emails about 2 contracts. How can I cancel one of them?

You need to call customer service in the morning. Between 8-8.30 is the best time.

If you ring at the time given you may be lucky enough to get one cancelled before it gets processed any further... http://www.o2.co.uk/contactus

Usually you will need to wait until you receive the phone then send it back and cancel the contract.
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

well, if you get in touch before they ship they might be able to close down the account. But as @MI5 said, normally this is automated and the phone would need to be send back to cancel down the new account.
