I have one pay monthly o2 sim already, so wanted two addition sims for my kids, but they're significantly cheaper if I go via Uswitch and then when prompted I click that I'm an existing customer.  It has my payment details etc but I seem to be held up around the credit check, I get the contract emailed. I have waited for 30 minutes and more to get past this section but there is no feedback from the site? Surely I'm not the first person to attempt to add an additional sim.  I have tried four times to do this and it always stops at the same point and just sits there spinning? What is happening here any idea?  I'm doing this on Windows 10 PC & Chrome

As suggested by madasaf1sh I called sales.  The one sim card that I have with o2 has a telephone number that was originally a Virgin Media number (I was a Virgin Media customer who when the two companies merged I moved over to o2 as that was the easiest thing to do) and it appears that this is why the o2 system will not allow you to add an additional sim card to an account, it some how does not like the Virgin Media telephone number associated with my account.  So I went through to talk to sales about sending a sim via the post and setting it up with them manually, but its taken soooooo long to get to this that the 40GB deal on Uswitch has been pulled and replaced with a 25GB deal, so I think I'll leave it there with o2 and migrate my other sim to another provider when I can.

You will need to call the sales team on 0800 081 0255

As a warning o2 may not approve any more sims for your account, as credit is not guaranteed.

It could be wanting two extra SIM cards that has thrown the credit check system into a hissy fit. O2s systems often see such requests as suspicious

This is not O2 and we are all customers here similar to yourself and cannot answer account type queries.

@w112087

You might find it easier to go in store to get them.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

@w112087 Thanks for that information.

O2 seem to be in a right mess.

We were promised a smooth and seamless transition 🤔
