do o2 match competitors tarrifs or anything?

hi im currently an o2 paym customer, i changed last month to a sim only deal but been looking at o2s upgrade prices and they are loads more than tmob/oranges deals.

i was looking at a sony xperia sp, and for tariffs about £15 its about £69 at competitors but on o2 its like £170..

i dont really need a huge tarriff as only use about 75mins 200tx and about 200mb, im thinking i might be better off on payg and just buying sim free.

do o2 do retention or competitor price matching ??

just thinking about my options before calling them. Anyone got this phone?

O2 generally won't match offers if you go to somewhere like carphone warehouse you may get a better deal

you could try calling retentions but doubt they will match it, carphone warehouse seems a best way to go

O2 matched carphone warehouse for me when I upgraded on o2 chat ( had to send links to prove it). But they would not match the online only stores for me, where its generally much cheaper.
