Any other suggestions in how to set this up.

 

I have called and spoken to O2, given the number, given the bank details etc.  Still getting texts to pay by card/cheque and on my O2 still not showing direct debit, tried the chat too and not got anywhere.  Can you not do it online anywhere?  Never found paying a bill so difficult!!

Also according to the help system if no direct debit instructions are setup you have to talk on 202 to set it up you can only amend it in myo2 once setup. http://www.o2.co.uk/help/account-and-billing/how-to-pay added link

When did you give o2 the derict debit details as it take time to set them up with the bank it is not instant. (especially over the weekend and on a bank holiday)

For some people setting it up is instant. Mine was when I took out my first contract (it was part of the contract terms and conditions. It showed in MY O2 within a few days. However, as @adamtemp64 has said it will take longer over a weekend and bank holiday.

Until it is set up and running smoothly you will need to pay via card ...

Hi epicmummy123, it sounds like you have the same, problem i also have tried and got nowhere, chat suggested me changing my web prowser to IE, i did ie to microsoft edge, and still got nowhere.

 

All i wanted was change my bank details, anyway now the details are of no use, wander what they going too do?

What happened to the DD set up when you took the contracts out?
