calling from austrailia

I am in Austrailia and when I try to call uka voice says the number is not connected . When I lert uk I asked o2 if I could make calls from uk and they said it was ok why will it not work   I have tryed to ring o2 but get thesame message and the have no one available to chate what can I do

It's difficult to say without more information.

Have you tried connecting manually to a different Aussie network? Are you P&G of contract?

Is your phone unlocked? Do you have wifi?

Hi,

Check that the Australian Network your connected to is not having issues.

The o2 network is currently having issues in some parts of the Uk due to current weather conditions and power outages.

If your phone is unlocked then try a local sim card or purchase a cheap phone with local sim card and use that for the duration of your trip.
