Get my old sim working

I am sending back my new phone I got less than 2 weeks ago. My sim is now working on new phone and I want it to work on my old one again whilst I wait to upgrade again. Can this be done?

Got an extra charge on my bill for a picture message. Got to my phone messages and see what picture I had sent, it’s actually a website link? Do we get charged for sending website links to non iPhone users if a picture is shown with the link??
