Wrong billing? Changed to PAYG from Pay monthly

Hi there, I just got my statement from the bank and there's an O2 bill that I wasn't expecting...so here it goes.

on the 20th of February I received my normal bill, and paid it.

On the 8th of march, i called CS and asked to switch from Pay monthly to PAYG as my contract had expired and I am leaving the country anyway, they migrated the sim and i topped it up and all was fine. I was told I would get a final bill but it wouldn't be the full amount of my bill because i obviously only used a few days of my allowance, which was fine.

On the 20th of March, i see that O2 took the full amount of my account! How is that possible? I'm sure that can't be right. Do i cancel the Direct Debit or what? I had enough stress to switch from pay monthly to payg already - can't believe it....wonder if they "forgot" to cancel my DD!

Oh, and on the 22nd of March i got an email saying i had nothing to pay for that month...weird.

I'd give them a call to check but it sounds normal to me. As you cannot get onto your account it confirms it's closed down.....
