Hi All

I have a payandgo number (transferred in 2006 from EasyMobile when they shut down) and very rarely top up using it only for incoming calls.

Haven't topped up for a year, but receive calls on average once a week, will they cut my number off due to not crediting? I have many old friends that may contact me on this number but as I don't currently have contact with them I can't change it as it would cut off any chance that they may call me.

The number ends with "00000" also so I would rather not lose it, is it best to top up or am I safe?

Thanks

Ed

You need to make a chargeable call once every 6 months and top up at least once every 999 days to keep the number active.
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)

Wow, easyMobile, there's a blast from the past!

They had some really nice number allocations, I had a similarly memorable one from them myself back in the day, but let it go a few years back now.

@MI5 has covered what you need to know - get it topped up and make a chargeable call ASAP before you lose it.

I work for O2, however any advice or opinion given in this community should be considered my own and not necessarily representative of Telefónica UK Limited.
