Why am I getting charged extras?!

Anonymous

Hi,

I have just checked my online bill the current month and it says I am going to be charged £0.33 for an MMS message. I have found the message that it is referring to and it says underneath the bubble "MMS" however it is not an MMS message it is a normal one with just text, no pictures, no files etc. I am careful about not sending pictures via text because I know they cost extra. This has happened before when I first got my phone.

Why is this happening?

THANNKS!

Did you put a colour smily emoticon in the text? If so that is now a picture and would explain the charge

How long was the text?
Anything over 480 characters is converted to MMS.
