I have never watched a football match on my phone but may have to this week . How does it affect my data plan ?

It will use your data from your allowance unless you can connect to wifi.

How much it uses will depend on the service you are streaming from and the quality you select to watch it in.

Google shoulld give you some ideas of useage per hours for different services.

Iplayer and ITV uses around 800Mb per hour of TV Viewing,

Also note that their is significant lag on the Euros Streaming on IPlayer and ITV Play platfoms
