I just want to veiw my bill but the account page just sends me round in circles....WHY

It appears that although I am using the same number as before o2 had created a second account for me and not closed my original when I upgraded this means that when I signed in with my original details there is no billing account to look at.
If only I could merge the two and continue as before but this does not seem possible....weird
