Upgrading From Business Tarriff to personal.

Anonymous
Not applicable

Hi all,

My business contract ended a while ago although i have carried on with the tariff.

I would now like to upgrade to a difference tariff, but its on the personal site.

Can i upgrade bertween the two and keep my number?

I am currently on a small biz 3GB, and would like to change to the 20GB sim only deal on the personal site however, i would need to keep my current number.

Thanks

Well, it hasnt really gone according to plan.

Recieved my sim today, and initiated the number swap and sim activation.

Up to 24 hours apparently, however, the friendly chap on chat activated it whilst i waited.

Only problem now is, no 4G signal and no visual voicemail.

Got on to chat again, and apparently they both needed activating???

Phone works fine, along with my number transferred although my 02 account still shows the original sim card number.

ANd still no 4G and Visual VM.

One would have assumed all of this would be activated by default???

You need to make sure you have iData enabled on your account - neither will work unless you have.

Yes thanks.

After another chat, it turns out i didnt have the iData bolt on, but the bolt on for a Blackberry!!!!

I dont understand how two other advisors missed it, but still, hopefully all sorted after midnight!

Yes, it's a common fault - BB is the default setting so unless the advisor ticks the correct box, that's what you get!
