It pays to shop around. I would go instore and also try the independents such as CPW. They are able to give you better deals on O2 than O2 themselves. A contract is a minimum 12 months so make sure whoever you go with has good signal at home and work. You can pick up P&G sims and try all the networks for best coverage.

Try off peak times such as early morning.

And I wouldn't use Live Chat no matter how desperate you are.

How about e mailing them ?

They cannot take you through security by email so it's best not to use it.

If you find a network that does do this I wouldn't use it.

The purpose of e mailing them is to ask them to ring you back as your finding it difficult in getting through to them.

I hope you find better service from your new Network.

Thanks, against my better judgement have just used 'live' chat to enquire and all they seem to want to sell is refresh which doesn't fit my needs at all would just be paying for minutes I'll never use. Have asked them to phone and they wouldn't.

Wasn't tryimg to get a super deal by saying I'd leave just trying to get something that suited me better (and my wife also due for upgrade and on same account) no interest though - its this or nothing. So having been with them since cellnet days will be moving.

We've come across other posters saying that the refresh tariffs are being pushed.

Of course their are other tariffs to choose from and deals to be had.

4g tariffs come available at the end of the month. Something to think about.

Live Chat have their low level uses but not for account and upgrade help.
