Upgrade from Sim Only

Hoping I can get advice and an answer here regarding one of my sim only contracts...

 

So My upgrade date to go from Sim Only to Handset is 28th Feb... however, I want to preorder the S22 Ultra and rumours have it that the preorders will end on the 25th... My question is, Will O2 allow me to upgrade that slight bit earlier, considering I probably wont get the phone until after my upgrade date itself... or will they stick to the 3 days later?

 

Just because as usual with Samsung a preorder will probably bag me some goodies FOC...

You should be able to upgrade OK on the dates you suggest.

If you came off a refresh contract previously you can upgrade at anytime.

If it was just a simo, they may add the 3 days to your checkout fee.

You should be able to upgrade OK on the dates you suggest.

So, tried to preorder the S22 Ultra... and they said no, that I cannot place any upgrade order until 28th Feb... I even offered to pay my line rental for next month in advance and they said no 😞

Of course you can......

You just pay off what you owe and you can upgrade.

Yeah, they said the 3 months is not up until 28th February and cant upgrade before that.

Yeah, they still arent letting me upgrade the sim only until after the 28th... So paid off the device on my sons number and placed order for the S22Ultra and when my upgrade is due Ill use it for his phone grin
