Upgrade/end of contact time: PAC question

Im at month 23 of 24 month contact.

Ive seen the phone I like but for a better deal on o2, having a new contact via a 3rd party sellers site gets a better deal.

I wish to keep my number and know I cant have a new contact and move a number from o2 monthly to o2 monthly.

Is it possible to put my current o2 to PAYG and use a PAC from that to join o2 contact via a 3rd party site?
