Hello,
Can you please help me. I attempted to purchase a deal for an additional device. I tried to get the Samsung Note that needed an upfront cost of £30. Before the credit check it stated no funds will be taken from my account until completing the order. After the check it stated that a deposit of £475 was required to complete my contract. Not being able to pay that amount i took my application no further but when i checked my online banking i noticed that O2 took/charged me the £30 upfront costs eventhough i didnt follow on with the purchase.
Will i get this money back? If so how long until it gets returned to my bank account?

O2 don't have it.
It went through pre checking with your bank as was moved to a shadow account pending collection by O2, but as you didn't complete the order, it won't be collected.
It will be returned to your bank account in 4 to 5 days in line with your banks policies.
This is how all online transactions work.
