Unlocking code

Anonymous
Not applicable

Having decided to go sim only after 2 years with O2,  I asked for and recieved a 20 digit unlocking code .

Went and got a good sim only deal from iD , sim duly inserted into my Windows Lumina 650 phone

Please type in unlock code ,, ok  but it will only accept the first 13 digits of a 20 digit code , O2 chat gurus didnt

have a scooby , and suggested I contact Microsoft , ha ha anyone ever tried that .

Has anyone encountered this problem or did you have to chuck your windows phone in the nearest bin.

Thanks for any useful suggestions in advance.
