The live chat is absolutely useless and won’t give me the information I need so hoping someone here can help.
I’m thinking of upping my tarrif to unlimited data as I’m having issues with OpenReach connecting my property for broadband.
I would need the Internet to work from home around 2-3 days a week (7 hour days) and also stream things like Netflix/Disney+ and potentially PlayStation downloads (but I can live without that if needs be).
Now, from my experience unlimited is never unlimited. So how much data do you actually get for unlimited data. Also, would the data provided through O2 on my phone be sufficient to do everything I need in regard to download speeds etc.
My next bill is the 28th so need to make a decision before then - so if anyone can be any more use then the O2 live chat I would really appreciate it!

You need to read the T&C's here for what they expect in terms of useage https://www.o2.co.uk/termsandconditions/mobile/unlimited-tariff-terms
With regard to whether it is suitable or not, you need to run a speedtest at different times of the day, to see if you are getting adequate speeds for your needs https://www.speedtest.net/
Don't believe what O2 tell you you should get - check it yourself first.

What are you accessing for work, is it mainly email / word documents or is it large files?
Netflix and Disney will stream, but you may only get SD, due to how they deal with mobile connections...
I wouldn't use Mobile Data for Gaming, the latency is too much for a lot of games, and with CGNAT (carrier grade network address translation) a lot of games will refuse to even work. and downloads may fail due to packet loss.
If you are using over 650Gb a month, then o2 (and any network, will question your data usage). no one gives you a truly unlimited Mobile data..
The FUP is here https://www.o2.co.uk/termsandconditions/mobile/o2-consumer-fair-usage-policy
You will get the same speeds as you get now on any tariff..
I wouldn't expect any non techies to know a lot about these things and certainly not live chat service...
Can you not get Virgin or another ISP for Broadband,
