I am an existing O2 customer and am trying to purchase a SIM only monthly plan for my wife. The product is offered by O2 via the USwitch website. I have tried at least 6 times to purchase it starting on Friday 24th November 2023 and finally today on 30th November 2023. I am redirected to the O2 website but the purchase process stalls at the same point (setting up the direct debit) on each occasion. I have called Customer Services twice and have been given the same excuse that there is a problem with the website and to try again in a day or so as it is being resolved - it hasn't. The Customer Services Operatives say they are not allowed to offer that deal themselves and instead offer an alternative deal for a smaller amount of data over a longer period for 33% greater cost! How can I obtain this deal as it seems to be an impossible task?

@Ginger1959

You can't until the website is fixed.

uswitch have deals all the time so if you must have an O2 sim, just keep trying, if not, go elsewhere.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Well ... it's an answer I suppose. It is odd that O2 themselves offer the deal but do not allow their own staff to facilitate the purchase of it.

Nothing stranger than O2 these days unfortunately.
