Hello I’m travelling around Tunisia for a few weeks and want to use my phone for Google maps etc so need data.

Ive read you can get SIM cards over there but will my handset be locked to O2? In order to use my phone will i need to pay to get it unlocked?  Or can i just put any sim i buy in Tunisia in my phone? 

I’m a pay monthly customer with a handset/airtime  contract.

Your phone won't be locked if bought after April 2018 so you can use any sim you like.

However, you can also download Google maps over wifi then use them in offline mode when travelling.
