Maybe I should know this but I am travelling @ Europe for two weeks soon. I have a contract with O2 and in the past despite turning off data roaming Ihave been charges a £60 extra because I have used data. I dont understand how this happens as data is OFF and I only use wifi in hotels/restaurants. I am very worried that this will happen again. Is there a package I can pay for so this won't happen?
Thanks in advance.

Hi @Anonymous
Have a look at this thread. If you opt in to O2 travel you will pay £1.99 a day for 120 minutes of calls 120 texts and any data you use....https://www.o2.co.uk/shop/international/using-phone-in-europe
If you stay somewhere with WiFi you can use TuGo to make calls out of your allowances. And use data over WiFi....It depends whether you are a heavy user...
