Can this be done? I thought it could be done but customer services have apparently told my mother in law that this can't be done and she really wants to keep her number with a new contract phone. If this can't be done then I'm guessing the only way around it is to switch to another network with the number.

It should be possible but please see my thread as I'd hate you or a relative to go through what I've been through this week
