Transfer from Business to Personal

Anonymous

Hi,

Got a user who has left the company and wants to take the number with them. We have the transfer forms filled out and accept the costs that comes with it. The user has also set up a new account in store ready for the number to transfer over to. However, I have been advised that this can't happen unless the number was set up online which doesn't make sense. Could I get some advice on how to make this happen?

you need to chase the reseller.

Another reason we moved back to o2's direct controll last upgrade.

You can ask the reseller to give you a detailed reason for refusal then use the complaints review service to highlight the resellers issues.

Which reseller are you with?

iPhone 11 Pro 256gb on unlimited data
iPad Pro 12.9” 2020 256gb refresh o2 family discount
Apple Watch series 4
My first mobile was in 1995 a CM-R111 from sony on Cellnet.

When you say you were advised was this via business customer service?

That's correct, yes. I probably missed out one key bit of information, we go through a reseller so I can't do it direct with Business customer service. I wish I could, it seems as though it would make it nice and easy.

I don't believe it. I called through to the business number again and had a guy just put it through...just like that. This after waiting 10 days for nothing. Thanks for the support guys. Oh and the name of the reseller....it may start with a D and rhyme with Lazy. Awful.

I would at next renewal still ask o2 to take back control of your account how many handsets do you have on it?

iPhone 11 Pro 256gb on unlimited data
iPad Pro 12.9” 2020 256gb refresh o2 family discount
Apple Watch series 4
