Topped up wrong number

Anonymous
Not applicable

Hi, I hope someone can help, I tried to top up my daughters phone today using the online web top up service, but it was the wrong number my daughter gave me, is this able to be refunded please or is someone going to be enjoying a free top up and my hard earned cash. Thanks in advance.

Someone is enjoying your freebie unfortunately.
Contact details here but they don't usually refund in these cases http://www.o2.co.uk/contactus

Unfortunately it can't be refunded as it would be looked on as a gift.

You could try calling customer service and a sympathetic adviser may credit the correct number.

You need to delete the numbers as this isn't customer service and we are all customers here.

@AnonymousI did this for my son a couple of weeks back. I typed in the wrong number but as the number existed (and was known to me) I knew it was pointless even trying for a refund Rolleys
