Hi I have a contract monthly phone with unlimited texts, but as I am going to Cyprus (Protarus) I want to know if I send a text back to the UK will this come off my allowance or will I be charged seperately. Also do I need to add a bolt on to the phone to enable me to use this abroad

Sending texts will cost you 5p.Receiving them is 4p. (see edit in post below.)
and O2 Travel rates apply.
However, significantly more and no O2 travel if North Cyprus.

Or better yet use tugo and the texts will come out of your allowance...
