So here's a bit of a conundrum.
Husband and I both on O2. He text me today and I never received it. First thing he asked when he got home was did you get my text? (He had won a bowls tournament)
Things we have tried.
He can call me and I get the call
I can text him and he receives my text.
He text me on the landline. I received that.
My son has text me and I received that.
He has text my son who received the text.
Both phones rebooted. He text me after the reboot, I never received it.
So apparently I am the only one not getting a text from him. Though getting them from others.
Thoughts?

Well thanks for all your help but it's just resolved itself!!!!!!!
All 9 text messages from him have just come in together immediately after I made my last post.
Pretty weird and there must be some reason for the delay but it's sorted now.
I will just see if it happens again and if it does then think about a new sim...or launching the phone.
Must have been some reason for the delay and it was only from his phone but as I say all of them have arrived in one mad rush.
Thanks again everyone.

I thought of a new sim @Bambino but not sure who should have one? Me or him?
Bottom line, he hasn't blocked me inadvertently, otherwise I wouldn't get his calls. It's only a text from him that fails.
He gets texts from me...so it seems a failure from him?

messages have their own filter settings...check both phones but its more likely to be the receivers phone becase the sender would get a fail to send error.

This has all been in the space of 90 minutes by the way. He first text me from the bowls club at 1.30pm. Once he got home and asked if I had the text, we ran our own series of 'diagnostics' as shown in my OP.

Oh that's a shame I have just told him it's his fault.
I've just checked mine and it's fine....
