Got 4 contracts with 02. Just moved one number to another provider, mobile phones direct, ironically still on 02 network. Anyone know how I make sure 02 amend my account or is it done automatically once you've got your pac code and arranged the transfer? Can't find anyway of actually contacting 02 online. Cheers Neil

Customer service numbers are in the link below.

Use the Lost/Stolen or Fraud option if you have to, to get through.

I DO NOT WORK FOR O2

I am having this issue also Nellie.
I owe nothing on my old contract, received PAC code to keep my number. Somehow managed to get a live chat with someone - said it was being dealt with. 10 mins later receive a txt to say it can’t be transferred as I owe money. I check the wonderful my o2 app. Sure enough - owe nothing.
Then when you try to call - even the automated response hangs up after giving a few options! Cheers o2

Mobile phones direct are just a reseller of contracts, your provider is still O2 and you cannot PAC your number to another contract on the same network.

If you upgraded, the contract will automatically update to the new details and you will keep your number.

If you took a new contract, you will need to call customer service on the numbers given above to migrate your number to the new contract.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.
Please select the post that helped you best and mark as the solution. This helps other members in resolving their issues faster. Thank you.
