Hi,

I am currently on an O2 pay monthly deal that is out of the minimum contract time. I've found an O2 deal that is significantly cheaper but is only available as a new contract, not an upgrade. Will I be able to switch my number to the new deal just like I would if it were with a different operator?

Hi @Saranne79

Your should contact customer services and discuss your options with them. If your current contract is finished then there is no reason why you can't take out a new one, as opposed to upgrading.

Yes you can get the new contract and then call customer service to migrate your number to the new contract.

Doing this will automatically end your old one too.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.
