Hi, I've got switch up included on my plus plan for my Z Fold 6. I've tried to upgrade to the Fold 7 today only to be told I can't add any more contracts (currently have 5) this is so frustrating as I pay extra to have switch up included & have never had issues before. I have a watch contract with a small amount left to pay, if I was to pay this off early would this improve my chances of getting approval for an upgraded phone?

This happens if trying online.
Either pay off one device or do the switch up in store.

Take the advice to do the SwitchUp in-store, @Jmanmitch7070 - as the O2 agent may have to manually remove an old contract details from your account (there is a limit on the number of devices, especially if tablets or smart-watches have been added previously, per account that gets in the way of online SwitchUp now and then).
Don't forget to take valid photo id into the store with you.
