Trying to get my head around the Sharer Plans, I'm on a refresh Tariff; am I right in saying that I can pick up a sim card and put it into, for instance, a Tablet, then add to my account and it would share my data plan at no extra cost? or do I have to pay a monthly fee for this? Advice appreciated guys.

I think it's £7.50 a month for just data sharing but you need to have a lead account set up which you can only do when taking a new contract.

I think the device also needs a minimum 2gb tariff of its own as my ipad cannot share my iphone allowance both refresh devices. (but I can tether the ipad so no issue)

ie if you have a 20gb tariff you can take a shared tariff for a second phone or tablet that someone else could use the other side of the country.
Obviously you wouldn't take a shared tariff if you only wanted to tether.
