Hello, did anyone else get hit with numerous texts from 84222 on the 25th September? I was out for the day and my phone battery died and when i got it back on charge, just after 11pm, I had a load of texts cone through from this number. I didn't really think much of it as one of the texts said that it was a mistake, but I've received my bill today and been charged £18 for those texts (83p each).
Has anyone had any luck on getting a refund? I had a webchat with O2, but they haven't refunded me as it belongs to a 3rd party. They did supply me with the phone number for the company though.
I've no idea how or why I received these texts.

Hi @marcotrebor
Welcome to the o2 community forum..
Sorry to hear you've been scammed
I see you have been given a link to read on the same subject and number.
When you contact o2 customer services it would be wise to ask them to....
Bar all direct to bill debits and bar premium rate numbers. Stops that kind of sneaky scam bill.
Good luck and get your money back.
Don't let these scammers win.
