Typical O2. Dunno how there customer services win so many awards. Spoke to payment management about not being cut off due to laid off because of covid19. O2 pay,ent management assured me I would not get service restricted and guess what. Service has been cut. Thanks O2. And to add there stupid automated answering service just directs you to a disconnect message and hangs up the line.
so I'm now in a situation where I need my mobile and left high and dry by O2.

They can't stop the system restricting calls automatically. What they can do is reconnect you but it's another phone call unfortunately.

It’s taken me a week to finally speak to an advisor. That was yesterday. My phone has had the restrictions removed and reapplied by o2 three times in 24hrs and I have been told to expect it to happen again and I just need to keep calling back. Which wouldn’t be an issue if the country wasn’t on its knees and the o2 call centres were at full capacity!
I have family members who are at risk and elderly. I have lost a friend and I have been without communications for a week. I made arrangements to pay my bill next month. 14 days before my bill was due.
