SIM only and Refresh

Hi Everyone, 

I have just finished payin up for my phone and I am looking to reduce my monthly plan cost, so I have considered going to SIM only. But at some point I will want to get a new phone, can I revert back to a refresh tarrif at a latter date and update my phone?

Sorry if its a daft question but my S8 is two years old and I know that battery wont last forever

You can upgrade at any point to a Refresh contract from a sim only contract so yes, you will be fine doing that @Helix1250
