Hi, Upon landing in the USA I recieved a text message telling me that calls to and from the UK would be £2 per minute and data £7.20/MB.

I am pay monthly, sim only and have the travel inclusive bolt on.

Is this just a standard text which I can ignore as it seems to contradict the O2 website.

Many thanks

@James0560  The text was probably sent in error, but to ensure you definitely do have the travel inclusive bolt-on it would probably be best to call customer service and double check. You can call for free from your mobile on +44 344 809 0202 or from any phone on +44800 032 1402.

Best times to call are 8-8.30 am UK time, but the time difference in the US may make that difficult. Calling and speaking to CS will get you an immediate answer, but other ways to contact O2 can be found here: https://community.o2.co.uk/t5/Welcome-News/How-to-find-help-amp-contact-O2-A-Guide/m-p/1201416

@James0560

Just check your bolt one in your MyO2 http://www.o2.co.uk/myo2

It will show as a bolt on if active on your account.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

I certainly wouldn't ignore it as you suggest. If it were me I would be checking it out asap as advised above.

The last thing you want or need is a massive bill, generated in error by O2.

Best of luck and welcome to the forum
