Hi,
(I'm hoping this post gets 'pinned' as it will hopefully resolve a lot of Blue Light Card holders queries).
As Blue Light Card (BLC) holders know, when asking about the discount code for O2 from Blue Light - they provide a long 'vault code'. We then spend forever trying to find out where we apply it! In short, we DONT apply it anywhere.
Folks - the vault code is irrelevant! I wish they would stop providing it as it just causes confusion (yes I will be emailing them and telling them the code isnt relevant and can they provide something else for us)
The way we get this discount is to go through the normal process in O2 Open and when it gets to the part where we are asked to upload a pay slip or provide a work email address - just upload a photo of the Blue Light Card! Then O2 staff will review it and apply the discount as appropriate.
You will need a 5 digit code on the O2 Open page, which I dont want to put on here as its use may be abused, but cant easily be obtained from O2 Customer Service for those entitled to use it.
Hope that helps 🙂
Jean

I would speak to Bluelight Card as Customer Services cant generate the discount codes for you they are all done via the offer provider,. same happens with Student Beans and Unidays..

How do I get the company code? Do I have to speak to them directly?
I wish O2 made applying this discount more easy

It is always better to be prepared for these schemes, and o2 is not alone in this...
As the FAQ's and guide say, you need to speak to your HR / Rewards team to find the code required, and be aware these change from time to time..
Ours has changed 4 or 5 times in the past 10 years

Thank you!
This makes much more sense. So first thing I need to do is get the company code. I work for the prison service so if I have no idea what to text 61202 since the company name could be the actual prison I work at or Ministry of Justice.

Speak to your HR team, they will know what the code is, or it will be in something like perks at work or on an intranet...
