Can someone help me please, recently swapped tarrifs (still on a pay monthly). Was told I needed to perform a sim swap as my new service has 4G.

Did a sim swap as described however now I get no coverage using either my old or new sim.

When the sim swap starts the old sim will turn off first.
Usually, within a few hours the new sim will then come online, but, it can take upto 24 hours in some cases if the system is busy.
You will also need to periodically turn off and on the phone with the new sim in it.

I did a sim swap yesterday and kept my old sim in the phone until it showed emergency calls only - i then turned off and put new sim in and turned back on and the new sim was active. Overall the process took about 10 mins.

If your old sim has been deregistered hopefully it won't be too long before the new sim kicks in - if you did the process yourself did you double check you entered the new sim serial correct?
