Poor Network

Anonymous
Not applicable

Hi

Is anyone else having serious issues with calls being dropped within the DY area. This has been happening to me and other people I know for the last month now. I feel like I keep being fobbed off by O2 as every time I speak to them they tell me the fault is being dealt with, it's fixed or it's ongoing. I've checked the O2 live coverage and apparently there are now no problems in the area but the issue is still happening. This is beginning to annoy me somewhat as it doesn't look very professional when you are constantly having to ring the customers back due to a poor phone network.

Hi.

Are you able to try your SIM card in another phone to see if the network strength improves or not to rule out your primary phone as the possible culprit ?

You could try both wiping down the SIM card and or visiting a o2 store to pick up a blank and ask them to sim swap in store or do it via the online link.

This can help.

If this is happening at home then possibly look at alternatives such as Tugo , viber or what's app.

Not the best solution I know but they can help.

Have you tried manually selecting 2G only? It should help with your voice call quality....

Hi, I'm in Mid Wales and having the exact same issue today, my calls keep being dropped and I cannot send any texts, I came on here to see if anyone else was experiencing this problem, and it appears I am not alone. O2 have been pretty much useless when I have attempted to figure out exactly what is going on.

Your query was addressed in the other thread you started. Posting the same thing in multiple threads isn't helpful.

Query was addressed, not solved, when it comes to being helpful, your commenting on my own unhelpfulness is somewhat uneccesary and also 'unhelpful'. Perhaps it may have escaped your notice that I may simply have been attempting to establish how widespread the issue was? And also that my comment here was posted PRIOR to any response to my own thread. Quit trolling.

Bambino was just advising you that it's easier to track if its one issue per post, but anyway, we've now established the cause of your problem so you'll have to sit tight for the network team to do their stuff....

O2 have addressed your problem by posting that the fault is known and therefore being worked on.

Your query was solved in the other thread. It was posted that a mast is down in your area. If you want to talk about trolling, look at what you're doing posting the same thing in two threads when you already have an answer.
