As I live permanently in Portugal how can I continue to use my phone without repeatedly being charged for unfair usage?

@Quayfront

You can't legally.

O2 Travel is for "travel" not permanent residency. You will be cut off eventually.

If you want to keep the number active I suggest switching to PAYG and just using the phone once every 6 months to keep the line active.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)

@Quayfront If you're in Portugal permanently, you should really be on a Portuguese network for internal calls. You can still keep in touch with your contacts in the UK if you're both using WhatsApp over WiFi. Won't cost you a penny if you do that.

I DO NOT WORK FOR O2
