Payment towards bill in advance

Anonymous

Hello all,

Gonna have a big bill next month due to roaming. Can I pay towards it now prior to receiving the bill so the generated bill is smaller?

You can make a payment towards your bill. As long as the payment reaches the account around 7 working day before payment is due, the direct debit will adjust to take the outstanding amount.

Why? What's the difference? Do you pay by direct debit? If so, just make sure you have enough in your account to cover the bill.

I get the feeling you have some available funds now and are just wanting to pay some in order to reduce your next months bill.

Nothing wrong with that.

Ring o2 on 202 to see if you can or look in your Myo2

I have credit on my credit card (as in actual credit from a refund) which I would like to use to pay some of the phone bill. Makes more sense to do that then get bank to refund it to my account and then pay the phone bill.
